After a rainy night, in a small public area called "reduced mowing corner"

Hello hivers, an happy Friday to you all! The weekend is just around the corner and here it rained all the night. The air, finally, is cool enough to breath in a comfortable way and to enjoy to stay out (even if at now it's raining a little). I can't express at the best the feeling to come back to sleep well after a couple of boiling months, believe me! Now I feel myself good, my mind looks ready to work on new projects and my hands run on paper (and on a large canvas too) and this is really good!

After the lunch, during a pause from the rain, me and my hubby @paolobeneforti went out to move our legs along the side of the river close to my home. There is a small park there opened just since few months and it's a special small area because there are some bird houses, insect houses and different plants. In a corner the grass is not cut so often like it happens in other area, because, as we can read on a banner there, the benefits pf a reduced mowing are very important.
It helps the wildflowers to grow freely and so they can provide food and shelter for the insects like, for example, the bees that are very important for the ecosystem health.
That area needs less watering because the taller plants reduces the evaporation of the water and, as you can understand, this is important during a dry time.

In this case, to make that corner awesome for the citizen, the municipality planted flowers between the grass and the wild plants there:
