A new small park close to my home.

Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
These are warm days of Springtime and this morning I decided to break my work on art to visit a new small park close to my home.
The municipality worked for months to open this green corner under the ancient walls and just few days ago there was the public opening. It's along the side of the river where I use to walk when I need to relax myself and to clean my mind, so I'm very happy to have the opportunity to enjoy the time in this corner too. At now the plants and the grass there needs some other time to grow enough, but I'm pretty sure soon it will be more green. ❤️

The name of this new park is "Sigfrido Bartolini" that is the name of a painter who was born in my city in the 1932. I'm happy to know there is a park in memory of a local artist, I think it is a nice name to remember him and his work on art.

Has I wrote, the grass there has to grow, but in the meantime we can enjoy the young plants and also the wooden houses for birds, for bats and also for insects hanged on the wall:

The park is between the ancient walls and the river, a place where there are a lot of birds and bees, so those little wooden houses are perfect and I'm pretty sure people appreciate to see them there.

Just to know, even if all the parts of this wall looks ancient, just a few part is really ancient, the other one is rebuilt along the time trying to make it similar to the older ones.
I can't wait to see this park when the grass will be ready and the many plants full of leaves and flowers.

Well, now I ave to come back to my brushes and colors to finish a new artwork.

See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia

That's nice to see and great that they named it after an artist. Maybe the park will inspire some art.

It's always good to see some provision for wildlife. We try to encourage it in our garden.

I think it's the first time our municipality places this king of wooden houses in a park, but I hope to see some of them in the other ones soon. It could be an opportunity to teach to the children how to take care of wildlife too. ❤️

Feliz jueves, Silvia.
