A book signing in my city: Mircea Cărtărescu !

Hello hivers, an happy Sunday to you all!
Today the clouds over my city is full of dark clouds but it's not raining and so we spent some time out of home.
Just a couple of hours ago I went to a very interesting event inside the ancient building of the Municipality in my city (Pistoia, Italy) where some different writers spoke about their books. They are all very interesting writers, but the "guest star" was the romanian writer Mircea Cărtărescu.

Thanks my friend Roberta, who is the owner of a bookshop not so far from my home and a big fan of Mircea Cărtărescu, I met the author and we took a pic with him. Roberta knows the italian translator of the book by Cărtărescu (Bruno Mazzoni) and so we could talk a little with him before the start of the event.

Sure, I had one of his book with me and so he signed it for me with very nice words!
It was very excited, believe me!

I like the novel written by him and the book I have in my hand in the previous pic is "Nostalgia" and this is what he wrote on it for me:

If you don't know this writer, I invite you to read some of his novel and, for more information about him, you can read here. Just to know, he has been rumoured to have been nominated more time for the Nobel Prize in Literature. ^_^
