A beautiful Christmas corner in my city. 🎅
Hello hivers, an Happy Sunday to you all! I hope you are spending a nice weekend.
Here it was a sunny but cold day. Now the sun is falling down because these are the shorter days of the year, but I spent an awesome day outside.
Me and my hubby just came back at home after a long walk along the alleys in the center of my city (Pistoia, Italy) and so I could take some pics (with my Nikon coolpix B700) of a beautiful Christmas corner in the main square called Piazza del Duomo.
Since a couple of weeks, in a large room inside the ancient building called Palazzo di Giano, there is a special event for children and families: the "Santa Claus's house"!
There was a long long line of people in front of the entrance and so I decided to wait to see the things inside the room, but I watched it on the local tv and there are many beautiful Christmas things for the children (and for adults who love this kind of things like me, sure! 😁 ).
As you can understand, I took some pics just outside, around the door of Santa's home, where there are a Christmas tree, 2 beautiful Christmas "wooden soldiers" and, sure, there is Santa who welcome you!
Everything is under the loggia of the ancient building so everyone can see these beautiful decoration that make the corner very very cozy.

Our village just tends to have some lights on lampposts and trees. Things like the nutcracker have a long history and we see it here too. I tend to think that Christmas gets too spread out, but I expect the shops like to get people in the spirit so they spend their money. Mind you, some places have a Christmas shop that is open all year!

I think there is a Christmas shop open all year in Florence (just around 40 minutes by car from here), but I'm not sure. Yes, the shops like to get people in the spirit, for example here in my city some shops started to decorate them for Christmas just after the Halloween time. 😁
