That it is not federal, and it is not a reserve.... it is a private bank quietly stealing at least 2% from the value of our Fiat money each year!🙄
I so feel you, Mike! There were many things just like that which when I learned how they actually worked, my perspective on them shifted quite notably! I think that something like that is occurring here on Hive too, sadly. Also, HBD, which is pegged to the price of the fiat dollar, which of course continues to decline in value, is also declining in value, but we don't notice it because it's always at $1. So it would seem that the whole Ecosystem is declining in value, or something very much like that. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Yes, the price of bitcoin is dragging everything down…

That, and the whale selloffs of HIVE on exchanges. HIVE inflation and the Hive debt are both at their all-time highs, while the fiat price of HIVE is at an all-time low, which is not a good combo at all. The Hive debt is presently sitting at 13%, but it's rising quickly. If it exceeds 30%, then the haircut rule would go into affect, which would dramatically affect the value of HBD, and all sorts of other things, like post and curation rewards, and interest for HBD in Savings. I'm very strongly considering withdrawing my HBD and swapping it for HIVE to power up. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That's sure what I'm hoping! The Hive Debt was at 13% yesterday, and then jumped to 17.80% today, then incredibly thankfully, it slowly started to go down a little today! It's still in dangerous territory, but that it's going down at all is excellent! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
