“I Da White Hat Hacker………Man!”🐸
“All Da Funds are Safe, you do as PEPE…. I mean, Da White Hat Hacker say, I return “MOST” of Da Loot!”😇

Some days it’s best to just close the laptop and go for a hike my friends!😇
Silvertop and PEPE were enjoying the evening last night when the news broke on “X”!😳
Apparently a “White Hat Hacker” found a “Bug” in Aqua’s Layer-2 “Liquid Bitcoin code………….
They exploited this bug, to create 4000 L-2 Liquid Bitcoin out of thin air!
Then they swapped this to “Real Main Chain Bitcoin” and withdrew the BTC to their wallet!🙄
They contacted “Blockstream” the company behind the Aqua Wallet, with the following message…………..

“Please fix the bug first. The chain is under risk at latest commit right now. Make sure every node is patched. Then we will transfer the money back safely after confirming the fix.”

Ohh great…….. PEPE and Silvertop had searched long and hard several years ago, to find a Lightning wallet that my State would allow!😮
Under choke point 2.0 several exchanges, and lightning wallets, shut down operations in my state!🙄
Aqua was still a viable choice, so Silvertop Transferred a very small amount of Lightning BTC into Aqua!😊
The way Aqua works……that Lightning BTC deposit is swapped for L-2 Liquid Bitcoin. This removes the BTC from the Lightning network, similar to placing it into a “Holding wallet!”
A third party called “Boltz” handled the Swap from Lightning to L-2 Liquid BTC……………
“Boltz” was being attacked a Month or so ago, and they decided to go off line on August 3!🤔
My Liquid L-2 BTC was stuck, I couldn’t swap back to Lightning, I couldn’t move my funds!😳
Then last night, a White Hat Hacker, found a bug and drained 4,000 real Bitcoin from the mother company Blockstream!😬
“Silbertop, who Dis Hacker, he look so handsome!”🐸
“Come on my green friend, we need to go outside and “Touch Grass”!☺️
Thankfully PEPE and Silvertop had only deposited a very small amount of Lightning Sats, worth only $1.35!😇
Time will tell if we will ever see these Sats again!😮
Careful my friends Crypto is still the Wild West!😅
