“Prone To Wander!”☺️
Just like this Local herd of “Roosevelt elk”, Silvertop is Prone to Wander the Mountains of the Pacific Northwest!😊
With hundreds of miles of hiking trails right outside my front door, my hikes never get boring!😇
See the third photo, this is Silvertop’s road, and uphill is where I trek daily into the Cascade Mountains! Years ago this was a dirt logging road. After they cleared all the valuable timber, five acre homesites went up for sale.
“ Howdy, neighbor”…….. that was how Liz and Silvertop were first greeted by Barb, our next door neighbor, twenty six years ago!🤗
Where did the time go my friends?😇
Barb has since moved to the Eastern side of the Mountains, to be close to family. She is still missed by Liz and I, and the rest of the neighborhood!😍
I need to remind myself, that once this street looked just like the photos of the recent logging clear cut in this post!
At least two 20 acre buildings lots have recently been surveyed, and they will be going up for sale, if they haven’t already been put on the market………….😮
I suspect they will sell quickly, as view property isn’t up for sale very often.
As Keith one of my other neighbors likes to say………………

Several new families with small children have already moved to our neighborhood, and with the new building lots, it looks like the neighborhood is growing!🤗
“Liz…… It’s nice to see more families calling our neighborhood home, but you still won’t catch me hollering “ Howdy Neighbor” anytime soon Lol!”🤣
Looks like Silvertop’s hiking trails are going to get busy my friends!😇
