Something is moving quickly through the underbrush of the dark Forest tonight!”😳😬
Several years back when Liz and Silvertop started hiking, I had the bright idea that even in the dark days of Winter, we could continue hiking in the mountains…… with flashlights!😇
The Mrs bought two of the brightest flashlights she could find on Amazon…..we were good to go!😊
“Honey, these flashlights are as bright as a car’s headlight, the forest almost looks like daylight!”☺️
After passing the trailhead, the two of us continued straight uphill, with both of our “headlights” illuminating the forest!😇
We passed our neighbor Tim’s logging mill, situated in a beautiful valley, located just before our next steep ascent to the ridgetop!😅
Suddenly we both stopped in our tracks……………😳
“Silvertop… WHAT WAS THAT?”😬
Neither one of us moved an inch………..
Both of our flashlights scanned the forest, back and forth, searching for “What” just caused the noise!😮
All was quiet now…………………..
“Liz, it could have just been a deer!”😇
“Silvertop……….It could be a Cougar, or a Bear, or………..Bigfoot!”🥰
The Pacific Northwest has been known for numerous Sasquatch sightings over the years!
Each year on August 1, the small Mountain town of Glacier Washington, hosts a Bigfoot festival, and don’t even think about shooting one of these very elusive creatures!!
Whatcom County officially declared that this County is a “ Sasquatch protection, and refuge area” way back in the early 1990’s🤣😇
Needless to say our hike was terminated on the spot!
Slowly we both backed down the trail, our two high powered flashlights, still lighting up the trail that we just retreated from!
“Liz…. I’m good for today, how about you?”😅
This was our last nighttime hike in the mountains, and so far Bigfoot has yet to let Silvertop snap a daytime photo of him Lol!😇🤣
Stay safe out there…… the creatures of the forest are watching!

I think that's what the 'Jersey Devil' is, an Eastern sasquatch, and there are lots of eerie encounters with it over time as well. I think I'd stick to daytime hiking as well, my friend! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That's a hilarious form of tic-tac-toe! Never has seen a sasquatch I'm not a big believer, more likely misidentification in my opinion. But you never know, weirder things have happened!

Strange things in the Pacific Northwest my friend.... even stranger that the town council decided to permanently protect Sasquatch from harm Lol!!🤣😇
I did a night hike in the Amazon basin once. It was guided, but still incredibly scary. All those critters that come out at night there! Huuuuge insects and such! Didn't have a good camera there and they asked us not to use flash, so no way to capture the beasts.
