Friday evening was supposed to be the arrival of our “Grand-dog”!❤️
Last night Liz got the call…………..
Work had been putting pressure on our youngest son.
Everyone is going to rest Friday, and make a fresh start, and a fresh drive, Saturday morning!😊
“That sounds good honey, Cot likes the idea of one more day “DOG” free Lol!😻
That also took some pressure off Silvertop as well………..
Friday morning I was scheduled to work on some electrical wiring for my friend at the tiny house!😊
One new 20 amp circuit for his water pump…….
A second electrical circuit and breaker for their washing machine………
Then I needed to add a third 220 volt 30 amp breaker and circuit for their new tank water heater!😊
I unloaded my tools at 8:45 AM…………
By 9:30 the Sun was already beating down on Silvertop…….😅
I was hoping for a cool morning……..Northwesters don’t do hot weather very well Lol!🥵
The “plan” was to connect the new breakers, pull and bury the three new underground wires, and then coil up the excess wires at the pump house until the plumber sets up the new pump and water heater.😇
11:20 AM …………I was completely finished!😊

I headed down North Pass for a somewhat shaded hike.
One of Silvertop’s original hiking trails was a trailhead that turned off to the East and headed straight uphill for a fantastic view of the valley below!😊
This trail is now overgrown with very tall weeds that you see in the sixth photo.
I climbed, and pushed through thick clumps of this vegetation!😲
It was worth the climb, maybe sometime Liz and Phoenix might comeback with Silvertop!🥰
Of course Phoenix is part Dachshund……
Her belly is almost dragging the ground Lol!🤣
Maybe our normal well used trails might be better for this girl!😇
Till tomorrow………. and Phoenix arrival……

Wow such amazing views on your hiking trails. It's amazing to see good weather. We've had a week of monsoon rains. Glad the sun is out today, but I live in the middle of a busy city so no chance to go on long walks and see nice views. So glad for all the photos that you and your wife share. :) happy weekend to you both! Can't wait to read more stories on your kitties and also, Phoenix the dog :D

I was wondering about the tall weeds, what type medicinal properties do these plants have?
Well, like most plants they have multiple effects in the body, but they are very good for the lungs, and are used for coughs, colds, flu, etc. They are beneficial in helping to counter the effects of smoking. They're anti-parasitic too. That's one herb that has been used medicinally for thousands of years in Europe, where it's native. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
That’s extremely interesting, I have asthma and a lifelong cough. That’s one of the reasons I hike to stay healthy!😊
