HELLO NEIGHBOR! 😀......................... Actifit Report Card: February 6 2023

Hi neighbor! 😊
We decided to hike early today, another windy, winter storm is coming!🥶
We headed up to the ridge top, and Tim’s off grid cabin.
“Much clearer today, unlike the clouds we had yesterday Liz!”🥰
The plan was a quick steep hike, and then Silvertop and the Mrs would run to town and fill up a new second 30 lb propane tank for our generator!
Silvertop wants to be prepared, just like my firewood, and my precious metal stacking!😇
We reached the top, and you could just barely see the skyline of Vancouver British Columbia!👀
We headed back downhill…………..

“Someone’s working on Paul’s old log cabin!”
“Silvertop, we will walk in front of you, and then you can take some paparazzi photos Lol!”😇
When we rounded the bend in the road, they’re stood our good friend and neighbor Tim!😊
“Are you freezing Tim?”🥶
Tim has become a “snowbird” living most of the year in Guadalajara Mexico, after he retired from the position of repair and installation tech for the Woodstone pizza oven company!😊
“Silvertop we bought Paul’s old log cabin, and we were just putting up a gate!”
“Do you guys want to have a look inside?”
Guys this is the real deal, a true log cabin!😊
Very rustic yes…..but a slice of history!😇
Step inside, and Silvertop will give you a guided tour!🤗
In the fourth photo, Liz and Jan are standing by the only heat source for this cabin, a propane gas stove!
I’m sure this being a true log cabin, winter winds made living here chilly!
The next is a rustic sleeping loft, supported by a half log…….interesting!
The white wooden board ceiling’s certainly brighter up this all wood home.
Check out how he used glass block to bring light from one room to another!☺️
Liz loves the spiral staircase in the next photo!🥰
I have no idea what year this cabin was built, but Tim told us there were only four homes on this old logging road when Paul started living in this cabin!
This cabin was at the end of the logging road, and it received the very first Postal address.
It still keeps the same address to this day, and consequently all the addresses are mixed up on our street. They start at Paul’s cabin then they go back to the beginning of the road and start all over again Lol!🤣🤔
“Silvertop are you hungry, check this out!”
In the last photo behind Tim is one of the original Woodstone gas pizza ovens, built into the log wall!🤗
We were told many people came up our road for home baked pizzas!
“Thanks Tim for the tour, the cabin is awesome!”
“We will be sure to stop by again before you head back to Mexico!”
“I’m glad we hiked early today Liz!”🥰
