A weird day, indeed! What did the man say? Did you handle him?
Some doctor's offices have a kids corner to keep them busy while mom or dad is being examined. But it seems that the mom just let them be (kids). You get all sorts!

I was with a patient when he came in, but was aware of what was going on. He has not come back yet. We bagged his glasses and the belt. I will leave a detailed not for our Monday-Tuesday coworker as to what to do should he return. We have no way to contact him.
We have toys out in the waiting area, but the mom stood at the reception counter and just let the kids go. I would never have dreamed of doing that when my kids were little!
