A unit full of Artwork of Janet van Arsdale in Hawaii

The property where I stayed in Hawaii has a large living room, a dining room with a full fledge 6 sitter dining room, a fully equip kitchen, two large balconies, a master bedroom with a toilet (and bidet) and tub bath, a two full-bed room and a separate toilet & bath.

It is a corner unit and has two balconies.

As you entered the unit, there is a foyer, with a console table furniture. The bedrooms nowhere visible, which is good!

What greets you is an artwork of a girl in grass skirt, a traditional attire made of coconut leaves.


This sets you right in the mood, that indeed, you are in Hawaii!


In the living room is an artwork of coconut trees. It is incredible how the shadows are painted over the photo of the tress. Unfortunately, it doesn't show in this picture 😌. This and next two pieces are large.


I like this one. Found in the dining room, it is an appropriate artwork, signed by Janit van Arsdale.


This next one is a mixed-media that combines an acrylic painting with a photograph of orchids. It is the artwork that welcomes you to the master's bedroom.


Leaves. It is fantastic. This is the second painting in the Master's bedroom.


Another artwork in the Master's bedroom. The third one! Surfers with the mountain in the background. North Shore! When the windows are open, you could hear the waves. I like this artwork!


This is a print of Janet van Arsdale orginal artwork in acrylic, found the the second bedroom. It is leaves from a tropical plant split-leaf philodendron similar to Monstera Albo. Very pretty.


Last but not the least, is a painting in a Hawaiian paddle, also by Janet van Arsdale.


A print of an original: A Lei

It is the smallest artwork, and it is partly hidden in this photo.

Do you know that is rude to refuse a lei. A lei is a Polynesian garland of flowers.

I stumbled across the artwork of Janet van Arsdale in The Art Collector while researching for her.


It must be big business for artist to get the whole property and provide every piece of artwork! I wonder how that goes?

It is a timeshare, sis. And so the unit is a whole flat with everything. It is not just a room in a hotel. And each artwork does make the different rooms very nice. I was very comfortable. I don't mind going back, hahaha 😁!

Exclusive rights by the artist Janet van Arsdale to have her artwork exclusively displayed throughout the properties where you vacationed in Hawaii is mindblowing. What an honor!

My favorite two paintings are in the master bedroom -- imagine that?! They are the paintings of the mountain with surfers
riding the waves at the North Shore and
the one with abstract leaves.
