I am excited to share the next part of our Manali adventure with you.

If you haven't checked out my previous blog about Hadimba Temple and the charm of Manali, you can catch up here.

So, after immersing ourselves in the beauty of Manali, we decided to spice things up with an adventurous bike ride.

Waking up bright and early, we eagerly rented a bike, ready to explore the enchanting landscapes of Lahaul and Spiti. One of my absolute favorite districts in Himachal Pradesh!

Solang valley

As we covered some kilometers, our journey led us to the breathtaking Solang Valley.

The sight that greeted us felt straight out of a dream.Look at these pictures: towering hills adorned with a blanket of snow with beautiful river along with beautiful trees.

Beyond these majestic peaks lies the Beas Kund Trek, our initial destination. Unfortunately, heavy snowfall dashed our hiking plans for this trek, but the view was still awe-inspiring.

On are way, we also found a beautiful helipad in Solang valley .

Atal Tunnel

With determination undeterred, we continued our expedition and soon found ourselves at the entrance of the Atal Tunnel.

This engineering marvel stretches over 9.02 km, making it the world's longest single-tube highway tunnel at an altitude above 3,000 m. Passing through felt like stepping into another dimension.

Emerging from the tunnel, we were greeted by a transformed panorama. A river gracefully snaked its way through hills adorned with glistening snow. It truly felt like we had entered a winter wonderland.

Koksar

Our journey didn't stop there. The next destination on our list was the beautiful Koksar.

The scenic beauty was like portrait in a museum.

As we rode towards Koksar, nature unveiled its wonders.


Numerous waterfalls adorned our path, with the Pablo Waterfall standing out as a highlight. The image below captures a glimpse of the breathtaking waterfalls we encountered.

After riding for an hour we ascended the heights of Koksar and suddenly snowflakes started dancing in the air.

The enchanting snowfall prompted us to turn back, saving our next destination, Sisu Lake and Sisu Waterfall, for another time.
