Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are these shots of this Wood Duck in flight and I got to say probably my best ones yet but I know I got even more in a folder of the 7 terabytes of RAW files I have. This just happened to be ones I edited in my latest edits. Now even though these were pretty far away I did crop them some on how I like them, do I lose some detail yes but I still think they are pretty cool and worthy of a post. These three shots I have here for today are all shot at my local lake and now that its baby season I am sure their will be more of the adults and the babies coming in the future. For now lets roll these ones out, hope you all enjoy these ones here. For the cover shot, I just had to go with this one, between the colors of the Wood Duck and the blue to white skies, sure does make a pretty cool scene. Its crazy to think the male is this colorful and the female is more just grayish brown but I do however like both. They are always a good photo moment and getting them in flight seems to be real hard, plus to get the detail in them or even locking in the auto focus. With my camera I am the auto focus, it ain't easy but I keep trying to do the best I can in my short photography career. Now the next one below I really wanted as the cover too but their can only be one and I will always go for the blue skies in my shots to present. The detail on this one is pretty good though and is an honorable mention to be the top shot. This shot here most likely was another adult but out of all the snaps these were the best ones and the others went into the trash.

Now this shot here another awesome one and this is within the same sequence of shots, of the same Wood Duck as they happened in real time. Wish I could have some more detail but they are pretty good considering the distance to my lens. I'm just happy I can hold this camera pretty steady to even get the shots I have been getting. Really enjoying this photography, it is always a feel good moment and therapeutic.
