Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some more car shots but these shots here was from the Air Show I recently went to. Before the Air Show started they had some exotics on the runway doing their thing, in which was just a bonus treat for a photographer. I'd like to mention that these are cropped due to the fact my 400mm lens is shot, no more auto-focus is working and a photography buddy of mine let me use his 300mm lens. I was bumbed that mine is done but still had to take the opportunity to get shots in at my first Air Show. With that being said I have some edits from this trip and I am not finished editing but I have some to start showing, also metal birds and helicopter stuff. So stay tuned in if your enjoying this run of my photography. Now lets get into these shots already, the first shot the cover shot above is my favorite but I did put up two edits in the post in color, for I like both styles and I am wondering what you all think of the two? I also will always have the black and white version too, in this one I think it is nice as well. Their was a couple cars that I didn't not get, I suppose I was to shaky and it was a heavy fog or overcast type morning, they also didn't start the show on time, it was two hours late. So it was a struggle with the light, when fog as well as when the Sun came out for the show but I feel like I managed to get some okay shots with this lens I used but I do prefer mine for sure. In the next shot below is a Porsche GT 3 RS and it sure was a beauty seeing it move. The shots are cool but my favorite of the group is the top one.
Now in this last shot here for today is the new style Chevy Corvette, some are fans and some are not, I suppose the old school guys don't care for it but the exotic guys love it and maybe some just don't like it for whatever reason. For me I like it, its a good change and I think they look pretty dang cool, especially going fast and with my camera pointed at them. Not my favorite shot here but they are okay considering the lens and day. I also didn't do a good job on the black and white version here, it is terrible in my opinion but its what I got so I am going to roll with it. So cool both these cool cars and then an air show it must have been a blast
It was a blast for sure and I am headed to another one tomorrow. On the beach, they fly over the water and pier, should be sick but I heard a lot of fog again for today and the show is delayed til the fog lifts, so most likely the same tomorrow.
WOW sounds cool hopefully the fog isnt to bad and I look forward to seeing what you get
Some dope shots man. Love the really long zoom, I need to get me one of those lenses one of these days. I’m really enjoying my 24-105 but I want some really long range stuff!

If I may, don't take this the wrong way, I wouldn't include the black and white versions. The background doesn't help, it's diluted.😟
These cars and this technique (panning) deserve color in this case.
However, it is a good exercise, as we are not always sure of what we choose. A look from the outside might help.
