Travel "The Omni Grove Park Inn Asheville, North Carolina" #1

Good Morning photography world and Hive Family, what do we have for today, is some shot's I took when I stayed at the The Omni Grove Park Inn Asheville, North Carolina and I'll tell you what even though this place is old, it sure was an amazing time, not to mention blessed to be able to stay at such an expensive hotel. The stay was awesome, the food was really good and the people were great. In this series I will be taking around the place, unfortunately I didn't even get a shot of the front of the hotel. Kinda weird right? I must have been unfocused or something or just caught in all the beauty of this place. This was the first time I have been to North Carolina but sure was worth it. Also at this time I didn't have my camera, so all the shot's I will be showing off here is from my phone but the definitely aren't that bad at all. I'm also excited to share them to you all and take a mini break from the bird and wildlife type posts. So here on this mini series I will be taking inside and out of this amazing hotel, then to another place we had visited but we will save that for later because that house was amazing. I'll tell you a teaser, it is the Biltmore Mansion built in 1889 to 1895 for George Washington Vanderbilt II and is still currently owned by the Vanderbilt family. Also it was Vanderbilt that built this hotel as well.

This place was built in 1913 and this amazing hotel overlooks the city of Asheville with so many epic scenery's. With a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, sure does set the backdrop on these photo's. This is a historical hotel and is a must if anyone ever is out this way, I would definitely recommend it. Is it outdated? The rooms definitely show their age as does the property but that to me is what gives it, it's great character. I love old, its sad to see so many structures, building etc torn down for this new age garbage, well some of it is cool but for the most part, I love the old stuff.

Let's get into these shot's, this is one of my favorites so it mize well be the cover shot.

Here is a shot outside the window of my hotel room. Such an amazing view.

If you know me, I love window photo's and here are two of my favorites that I captured.

Walking out the middle of the hotel to all the beauty, plenty of food to the left and right, as well as to the right is where they do seating area for weddings.

I just love the rock architecture, so magnificent.

Now I believe this was the main hotel but I'm not to sure if the left side rooms and the right were later built or all the same. Probably all the same time.

Love the waterfall going down to the pool area, and unfortunately I didn't get any pool shots, for it is inside and is like a message place, so I didn't want to be a creeper going in there for shot's.

Right on the right, inside is where the indoor pool is.

This shot right here was the view from the big all you can eat buffet they had, such a scenery and the food is bomb for sure. We ate here mostly.

My only shot in the front of the hotel and they had these old huge rocking chairs that I was sitting in and I just sat there for a couple of hours enjoying.

A cool night shot of the food spot and I assume this is where they do music for weddings but up top where the lights are, is the food place and the food was amazing.
