Good evening Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all tonight are these shot's I captured of this Swallow Tanager while I was at the Zoo with a few other photography buddies. My first time there shooting and I must say I need to go back, go by myself so I have more time to do what I want and get shot's. This bird took me about a half hour to figure out the name, the website really doesn't help at all, due to their are so many different bird species there, or they are just lazy on their website. Finally found what it is thru Instagram. I tried to lighten these up so to me these are okay shots nothing to special in detail, it was pretty dark in their and I was struggling to get some quality shots I feel like. This is a pretty cool looking bird though, mainly a bird in South America and a few other spots down South. Crazy because the female looks nothing like this blue looking bird. Its got more green and less blue in it with more black highlights but I didn't see one, so maybe one day they have it or she was just hidden. I felt kind of rushed this trip but let's get into the shots, the cover and the first one I think is the best one of them all but like I said not really happy about them. It was nice to get something though, so I must share what I captured and for the second shot below, this one is pretty cool the way he is looking at me. I'll try to get some better ones, one day when I go back down there, it is a trip so it wont be any time soon but I know I will for sure. I'd like to focus on the big spot with many birds and ones in flight, this spot was rather small and dark, so hard to get really good shots. I still think these are worth the share though even though I'm not to crazy happy about them. Yesterdays bird and post was by far super cool and thought would do better but all good, glad to share my journey's.

Now for the last shot, another okay one but I do like the cover shot better than this but these were the only three shots worth saving at this time. I'll have another go at it one day, so I am not to worried about it and bring something better for this bird.
