Super Blue Moon August 30, 2023
Good Morning photography world and Hive Family, today I shall present my first time every shooting the moon, this night was last night during the Super Blue moon of 8-30-23 and the next one will be in 2037, so I just had to go out and give it a shot. Do I think they are good? I think they are okay and I realize the only way to get better is to keep on shooting. I went up to a small mountain near my house and posted up to do this. I got their just in time as it was coming over the mountain top beyond me, now I thought it wasn't going to because the air quality wasn't good, as you can see some pictures, it went thru some clouds or haze but I did get to capture it coming up. It was orange at first and then kept changing as it came up. This time I didn't put the best shot of them as the cover, I just did them in order as the moon started coming into sight. My favorites are probably the 2nd, 3rd and fifth one, with the actually clear white one would probably be the last as the best. It was a great time alone and was pretty quite other than what sounded like bats making all kinds of noises beyond me. Kinda spooky but their was random cars that came up and checked it out, some stayed in their cars and some got out. I saw another couple come with a camera but wasn't their that long. I was their for about 2+ hours and was nice to be out trying something I've never done before. Scratch that, I am going to put up the third shot, as the cover, it is my favorite of them all and why not put it up. So just know the first shot in line goes into the 3rd spot as you go down the list of photo's. Anyways, thanks for stopping by my post, hope you all enjoy them, have a blessed day.
Oh I forgot to add something, I think I missed the best shot by the way. I was talking to someone turned around and saw that a plane was going to go right in front of the moon and when I took a few shot's as I did, I just got the tail, to bad if I would've captured the full dark plane in front it would've bee so cool to capture but I failed. haha. Maybe I'll get it next time, in 2037. Also I'd like to add that these are straight RAW shot's and I only converted them into JPEG form, no edits, so you get what I saw in real time.
Anyways appreciate everyone feedback hope you have enjoyed my shots and post today' thanks for stopping by, Have a blessed one and thank you for coming in and checking out my shot's of the day. Stay tuned and enjoy my future shots in the world of photography, thru my lens.

I love these pictures of the moon and I love the way they are arranged following a whole pattern, beautiful work.
Thanks, appreciate it. I always try to be creative in my process. I wish I had them all lined up in the middle but would take to much time. haha
Being able to have some mountains, hills, trees to watch moon climbing during the evening always entertaining. Super blue moon was the night to be out watching, magic with it popping up between the hills.
My pic is the one with some light clouds floating above (6).
So true, so true. Yeah love that one too. Thanks for stopping by...
Right lighting as at moonrise, did not get to see Saturn the way some did.
