Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some more shots of the hummingbirds, but this time it is the Rufous Hummingbird. Such a cool bird here, the color is unreal and this has to be one of my favorites for sure. Now I wouldn't say this one is rare but rare to be with many others at the location that I shot all these Hummies. I think it was like thirty Anna's Hummingbirds and only two of these Rufous Hummingbirds and they came in fast and left even faster, so I do have way less good shots of this guy, so today I will present three shots. I have enough shots to make a second post and I think the shots are worthy to do so. I hope to go again someday soon because I need more shots of this one, as well as the really rare one that I didn't even get one good shot of, the Broad Billed Hummingbird, so I hope to get back to getting that one too but my friend says it is really rare to be here in this area and he hasn't seen it in a few day. Really sucks but you can only do what you can do these days. Let's back to the Rufous Hummingbird, love this one and I like these three shots here today, hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. Now lets get into the shots, the cover shot is my favorite, yes it is going a bit away from me but still has really good detail all around, the head and especially what makes this my favorite Hummingbird, the tail. it is different then all the others, the pointed feathers all sprawled out makes this epic, and I can take shots of this guy all day. I still am amazed that I was able to get that detail in the tail but I will take it and hopefully get many more one day. The black and white version too, is just amazing and I love this world of photography. This is what makes it fun in the end, for me to be out there with a camera is the best but to get epic shots for being so new to this, is a bonus. Now the next shot below is just as good as the top one but it is turned more away but still got an eye in the shot and that tail again. These for me are epic, proud to be able to get them and I will continue trying my hardest to bring you all awesome images from my eye and lens. Let's not forget the brown with the green back, how cool is that, so cool to me. Wait for the next post too, the front of the head on this Rufous Hummingbird with the color is just sick.

In the last shot here today, I had to put another one with this set and this is pretty cool too, not as much detail but you can see how the head under the beak those colors are nice, even better when you get the right light to hit them but is harder to get detail on them when it does happen.
