Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are these new shot's of a new species, the Purple Starling that I captured at the Zoo a few weeks back. I'm going to go ahead and say this first, pick one any one and every website that has Zoo attached to it, suck at their job. Is it really that hard to have all the birds you feature on your website? I guess so, you literally have to take pictures of their wood signs in every location at the parks to know what they are, I have spent so much time trying to figure out what some of these birds are and I am really over it, Haha. Once again twenty minutes of me searching the web to figure out that this is a Purple Starling, am I confident, No, why because their are a bunch but I think this is a Purple Starling. Okay I am done with my daily rant, Haha. Now lets get into these pretty cool shots, the cover the above shot here is my favorite, I just think its so dang cool, wish it had more detail but good luck on that considering their glossy feathers. I've tried twice now and here are some of the results. I think I did a pretty good job considering my old camera equipment. Lets move onto the next shot below, another good one and I really had it set on making this one the cover shot but I really like the one with the big portion of the tree out of the image. It is pretty cool one and should be consider as good as the cover shot and worthy of that mention. This bird is basically from Argentina, Peru and Columbia, as well as Brazil area, in case anyone wanted to know.

Now the last shot here just another side view with the head in a different direction and sure is another nice one, to bad the Sun didn't hit the purple on its throat area to make it pop better. I most likely will have another post on this bird sometime in the future and possibly a third if I got any more shots on the second trip, but I actually don't think I did. Hope you all enjoyed these ones here today as much as I did taking them, appreciate you all and thank you to all of you. Have a blessed one.

It's a beautiful bird. I immediately noticed the ring on its leg, and when I read, I understood that it's in captivity.

Or not?
