Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some new shots and these shots right here are of this Great Blue Heron and what it is doing right here is not really rare but somewhat is, the Sunning Posture or also known as the Flasher pose. I have seen so many Great Blue Heron's over the year and I have only seen this action twice, so I suppose and I have heard it is somewhat rare to see. Pretty dang cool if you ask me too, I like things like this and at this lake on this day made for some awesome shots. The Great Blue Heron on top of the wood tree sticking out the water, as well as the reflections sets these shots of fire. I was probably about 150 yards away, so it made for a good far shot with the reflections, as well as me zooming in with my 400mm Lens to get a bit closer. I wished I was able to move closer as well but these shots will do just fine here. Now lets get into these shot for the day so I can go out and shoot some more epic shots, or should I say try to. The cover shot, I had to go with this one, the one that is closer because I just like it the best out of the three. So happy to be able to see this and catch it with my lens and camera. What do you think? Do you think this pose is cool or no? Now in this next shot below, the reflections are song dang nice and I am so glad the Sun was to my back for these shots. To be honest I think this is the best one that I have captured of this pose too, the last time the background was to busy and their was obstructions going on with that scene too. I don't even think I edited them or even showed them back when that had happened. Anyways lets get into the third shot presented here today.

Now for the last shot here, another nice one with a different background then the one above but still the Great Blue Heron is doing the cool Sunning Posture aka Flasher pose.
