Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today are some shots that I took of this Belted Kingfisher and let me tell you this has got to be one of my best shots taken of this little guy diving for a fish and breaking out of the water with it. Now I only have three shots here on this dive and to be honest only the first one in which it is the cover shot is the best but I had to put the other two so I have some content here. I have another dive with about the same many shots but that will come down in the future, these are probably the hardest shots to get and seeing that I only have a 300mm lens now due to the 400mm lens being broke. So I do have to be a lot closer to get in on this action. This shot here, the cover shot above, he dove right down in front of me and this bird is fast. I got this shot as he came out of the water with his fish catch, and it is a he for sure not a female this time. So glad he came out facing me too, as for the other series I will do later it was more on the side, so to get this I was excited and I was hoping it came out real good. To me it is pretty dang good, its not going to be so detailed due to the water but it is actually good in detail, so happy for this moment and I hope I get more in the future, as well as a new lens, well even a new camera body too would be nice but for now, I get what I get and don't throw a fit. The next shot below, this shot here is pre exit of the water, I thought it was pretty cool not much detail and I wish it was out of the water a bit more but you can see the fish and then that cover shot is the next one in line of this shot sequence.

Now this shot here, is when the Belted Kingfisher took off from its perch, I had to try and edit the best I could, not a real big fan because after the noise reduction etc, it really look more like a cartoon image but their must be at the least three images on my posts, so here it is. Just like the next post of a dive shot, I got a real cool one with another bird right under its wings but again, it looks cartoon-ish to me. Major crop didn't help it either but all good, so many shots, so many posts lets just enjoy the good and bad and keep it pushing onto the next day, the next post. Hope you all at the very least enjoyed the first shot, it is the hardest to capture for such a fast bird, to all thanks for stopping by my blog and post. Have a blessed one.

Great shots of that dive. I know you think that only the first one is the best but the others are very good too :) Happy to appreciate your photos @shoemanchu
