Good morning Hive family and all the photographers lovers around the world, what I got here for you all today is some more new aviation photography and finally I was able to get some of the Old School Aircraft that fly's around my local airport. What I did is finally used and app, saw four planes go up, tracked them and then set alerts on them when they go up again. The next day then went up twice for me, so I got them taking off once and landing twice as they did the same route that was about a forty minute trip. So you can say I set it up to be ready and I cant wait to show you them as these posts roll through the four but for today it will be the first two which are the 1953 Beech T-34A (A45) Mentor and a 1955 Beech T-34A (A45) Mentor and then I'll show the next two with these as well and then I will be doing the solo flight ones. What was so nice, is for the landing I went to the perfect spot, they flew by me once, then wrapped around again as they circle me to come in for the landing. I was right there to get the transition to landing, it was a perfect spot and a perfect moment that day. So the silver one, is the 1953 Beech T-34A (A45) Mentor C/N which is an Air Force Trainer aircraft and the yellow one is the 1955 Beech T-34A (A45) Mentor in which is a Navy Trainer but to be honest many nations fly these for trainers once I digged and did a little homework on them. All good just happy I got these and hopefully I'll get them on a better Sunny day in the future but that will be after my trip. So the cover shot above is my favorite one of them but is the second one in continuous shots of the order and the second one below is actually the first shot of the three. All are pretty good, I did crop some to get them a little closer in the frame and that does make them lose some quality but its all good.

Now for the last one here of the three shots, another good one as the yellow one takes the lead and that's what I have noticed when all four go up together, the yellow one is the lead and the silver one take the rear for some reason. Regardless I finally did it and will get them again one day but for now enjoy them all coming in the weeks. I will add this, its not easy to get them, you only get maybe fifty shots, and they land or take off even lower in shots, while you have to shoot at around 1/320 of a second or lower to get the propeller action. That is what you want so you can see that they are moving, nobody likes the prop still like its just hanging in mid air. Like I said not easy the lower you go in shutter speed, any movement kills shots, and trust me I had many this time but again I'm still learning all this and doing a pretty good job at it. Stay tuned for more action, thanks for stopping by my blog and post, have a blessed one.

Nice I really enjoy seeing planes from this area in action! I totally understand the challenges with shutter speed and making the action look the way you want it to.
