A Collection Of My Bird Photography #12

Good Morning photography world and Hive Family, today's bird feature is the Red-Crowned Parrot also know as the Red-Crowned Amazon (Amazona viridigenalis). Now who doesn't like Parrot's and for these, they are actually on the endangered list. Which is kinda sad because these are some beautiful birds in my opinion. They are known to occasionally fly around together in a group in my area and these were taken at my local lake as well. I had a previous session earlier than these shot's right here but they were a bit further out, so most didn't come out so well. On this day they were in some trees right when I found a awesome hawk driving to park at the lake, unfortunately the hawk was gone but these guys were in a lower tree making noise and I was able to get very close to them. Definitely a moment worth cherishing and another bird captured in my photography album. This will be part one of this bird, for I have some flight ones and others from another time I went shooting but that will come another day when part two happens, not to mention maybe I get some more shot's in one day.

I see on Wiki that a study was done in 1994 and they have a population of 2,000 to 4,300 of the mature bird but that seems low to me now that we are in 2023 because we do tend to see a lot of these in a group of fifteen or more, many times I have seen these as well as others I know. Now I do see they have a big illegal export of these parrots that are trapped from Mexico the the United States which obviously destroys their natural habitat. Such a shame and to be honest a lot of humans out here suck big time, But let's move on from the negative because I can say a lot more about humans and its not very good. Their's really nothing like being out in nature, thru all my trails and hikes I've been on, it's so much more peaceful than the cities. Anyways take a look at some of my favorite shot's of these beautiful parrots, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. For their come a time of a new post, like tomorrow because honestly its exiting to share all that I do share here. It always has been even though I've been thru a lot here, I stick around and enjoy all that appreciate others work. It by far the best way to share in the social media ways to do so. I've always been firm believer that we all should own all our data, Name Image likeness no matter if your in sports or whatever. To bad no politicians are fighting for our data, because the scammers already made the masses sign up and give their data away for free. It's always been a scam though when you know you know.
