A Collection Of My Bird Photography #10

Good Morning photography world and Hive Family, today's bird feature is the Green Heron. Has to be one of my favorite birds and these are probably some of my favorite shots I took. All of my captures were taken at the same location, a local lake that has many birds to view. I'm pretty sure the first shot has to be my absolute favorite of them all, clean shot, the detail is amazing on this bird and the claws are just an added bonus. The other two shots are of a different Green Heron but at the same location and actually was the first Green Heron I have captured, since starting this bird photography. I got real lucky at this location and the Green Heron let me get off over 100 shots, the worst part is I wasn't ready for the lift off and the fly away, so close but some of him was cut off due to me being zoomed in at the 400mm mark and my panning skills didn't get it. With the blink of an eye, a bird is gone, so you definitely need to be ready to go or you missed your shot. What's funny is the first picture, I actually came rolling up on my electric bike and couldn't believe he was just sitting at this location. I only got two shot's off before he took off but I sure made them count because both were nice shots. The other shot was on a previous post but figured put up some new shot's to make the Green Heron logged in to my collection of Bird Photography.

Now you might be wondering about the electric bike, its my go to always for most lakes. I can literally cover so much ground and I can save the walking for my hikes. Also this local lake has seven lakes in total, as well as 190 acres in total of the park aka the campgrounds, so it pretty much a lot of ground to cover, for many of the birds are always switching it up to what lake their at. You might also wonder how ling my electric bike last, well I'm not to sure but I know I can ride it for about three to four hours with the stop, turn the power off, then back on to another location. Very much worth the purchase in my opinion. Hope you enjoy my convo and my shots of the day, appreciate you all checking out my daily post and photography work. I also might need to switch it up and post other work other than birds or maybe just get thru all my birds, then do all that. We shall see but Im glad your here and hope all is well with you all.
