To The River, To The Mall

As I stepped out of my house, the cool morning air greeted me with a gentle breeze. The sun was beginning to rise, I could hear the chirping of the birds in the distance, hopefully it is a sure sign the spring weather is finally on its way.
I was greeted by a friendly robin perched on the porth, its bright orange breast stood out, it's cheerful song filled the air. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of this little bird, a harbinger of the changing seasons.

As I stood there, the friendly robin, with its bright eyes sparkling with curiosity. It seemed to be inviting me to join it on it's journey, to explore the wonders of the world together.
And so, hand in wing, we set off on our adventure, the robin leading the way with its cheerful song, as we wondered the first block, I felt a sense of joy and wonder. It was as if the world had come alive around me, filled with magic and possibility, and then just like that the robin started flying way too fast and left me far behind.
So I decided to go down to the waterfront, it was quiet and peaceful, the calm waters of the St. Clair RIver reflecting the colors of the sky above.
I noticed a big sign saying "Sarnia" I guess this city is trying to be like Toronto now.

So I walked back home, got inside and my wife finally woke up and you know what that means?? Yep that's right it's time to go to the mall.
It didn't take her that long to get ready, then we hopped in the car, rolled down the windows, so we could feel the air in our hair.
We found a really nice parking space, right beside the mall, at the Toys R US entrance, we made our way into the Toys R US, but something seemed different this time in there, they actually had HMV in the toy store, I didn't think that music and entertainment retailer existed anymore, I haven't seen that store in years, but there it was inside the Toys R US

The selection was really small there, a few vinyls, some cds and some movies too, maybee sometime soon it will get bigger there.

As the wife and I walked through the other parts of the mall, I wanted to buy some crypto at the bitcoin atm, but it wasn't in the budget this time, the carbon tax here in Canada has put a huge dent in our budget, with the crazy rising cost for fuel to fill up the car and other price increases. Maybee later I will have to roll up some of the dimes and quarters I have laying around to afford some crypto.
And we noticed that the place Stuffy Riders has opened, oh man it would be pretty fun to rent one of these electric plush animals to drive around the mall, but it was over ten dollars, hopefully someday I will do that

It was a very nice day, the wife was really happy to get out and walk around the mall to see everything there
