On The Road Again 🚗 🚘

Time ⏲ ⏳ to go on a little road trip, took the wife out and to see how our car can drive on the hiway, the muffler sounds pretty bad, the muffler makes our Pontiac sound like a race car 🏎 🏁

So we decided to drive along hiway 33, which goes along the St.Clair River. Our first stop was a place called Mooretown. They have a Moore Museum, we didn't check it out, maybe next time 😉
We did stop at a park there though, we looked across the river and you could see 👀 the Northern part of St. Clair, MI, I drove through that place over 20 years ago. It's a small place only like five and a half thousand people, but they consider it a city

Also got some views on the Canadian side of Mooretown, it seemed so beautiful 😍 there

So we continued on our journey down hiway 33, our Pontiac was holding out pretty good. Then we stopped in the little place of Courtright, the wife was craving for the candy called " hot lips" and gummy cola, so I went into a variety store there to see what I could find for her

I was able to find gummy cola, but no hot lips, I think 🤔 there is a hot lip shortage. In the store they had a Don Cherry hundred dollar bill, but it wasn't for sale, ahhh

They also had Santa 🎅 coffee ☕ cups, I almost bought it

They also had a bar in Courtright, but I was driving, so I didn't want to drink booze

So I went to the car to give my wife the gummy colas and then I went to the river, across the river was the more center part of St. Clair, MI. It looks nice, they have a Manninas Wine 🍷 House, Newman's Family Market, a golf ⛳ course on an island 🏝

Then we drove further down the hiway to a place called Sombra. This little village seemed really awesome, back in the 1920s during the prohibition, AL Capane used Somra as a major location to smuggle alcohol 🍸
The village had some neat looking businesses

The ice cream 🍦 😋 place wasn't opened, ahhh

So I decided to go in the gift shop, the door was open, but I looked around the store and no one was in the store to help me

So I thought maybe I will stop by the restaurant to get a slice of pizza 🍕 🤔, the sign said please ring the bell for service, so I did, waited there for 5 minutes and no one came, ahh what luck I'm having with this village

So I left, I walked 🚶‍♂️ by another business and they had neat looking pumpkins 🎃

Then I walked 🚶‍♀️ to the River to look across to the Michigan side, the city is called Marine City, I'd like to go there one day, they have a store named "The Sweet Tooth Of Marine City" it looks like it would be a rad place to go

After that we had one last stop to make, so we continued on hiway 33 to Port Lambton, this little place of just over a population of 1000 people has one of those grocery store that also is a liquor store

They had a neat variety store that had a restaurant in it and also a country style coffee place, but I ended up buying Starbucks in a can, you know the one with the double shot

Then some last views of across the river, on the Michigan side was a place called Robert's Landing, it appears to be a big campground

And that concludes are little road trip down Hiway 33, have an awesome day and happy Halloween 🎃
