Most Amazing Ancient Ruins in Stockholm

Over the years I have only been doing outdoor wedding photo sessions for couples at only two Royal Palaces in Stockholm. And now I am bored. And then I started looking for some unique locations where we could shoot pre-wedding photos and videos. I was looking for a place whose photogenic views would make the couple's big day a lifetime memory.
Sigtuna is a town, north of Stockholm. It is known for the stone ruins of the medieval churches of St. Olof, St. Lars and St. Per. So I thought why not visit the ruins of St. Olof's Church. The ruins of St. Olof's Church are located right in front of the Sigtuna beach.

And there is a parking lot next to the premises of the ruins. Passing through the cemetery and St. Mary's Church, we reached the back side of the ruins.

St. Mary's Church, built by Dominican, still stands in the centre.

This ancient ruin is spectacular and well worth visiting. Because of its excellent preservation, you can now independently explore the ruin as of 2018.

There are informative signs at the ruin that provide more information about the church.

A three-minute walk from St. Olof's are the ruins of St. Lars Church, but it was fenced off. And after a further 6 minute walk from St Lars ruins, there are the ruins of St Per Church.

We went around it from the outside, because the entrance door was locked.

And so I found a beautiful and unique location of St. Olaf for a photo session
