Travel book # 1: Fiesta Water Park

Hey fellow travelers, welcome to my travel guide! Since this happens to be my first post, let me give you a little introduction about myself. I absolutely adore traveling and find myself jetting off to different countries every year or so, in search of captivating places and immersive experiences. Currently, I find myself exploring the enchanting landscapes of Pakistan, as I graciously accepted an invitation from one of my online colleagues. While I'll be sharing more about my thrilling adventures in subsequent posts, today I want to dive into the topic of my personal favorite destination—a delightful waterpark.

Wherever I venture, I always make it a point to look up amusement and waterparks in the vicinity. After all, what better way to revel in sheer joy and unwind from the rigors of travel than by indulging in the excitement of a waterpark? So, after traversing the globe, my wanderlust has finally led me to the captivating country of Pakistan. As I take a breather from my escapades, I couldn't resist the allure of visiting a waterpark. This particular gem is nestled approximately 44 miles away from Karachi, the bustling economic hub of Pakistan (but let's save that tale for another day). It's a splendid expanse, one of the largest parks in the country, and exclusively designed to cater to families.

To make the most of our visit, we heeded the advice of my friend and set off bright and early. A local 24-seater bus was organized, and accompanied by my friend and his colleagues, we embarked on this delightful journey. After a leisurely two-hour drive, we finally arrived at the waterpark. Excitement tingling in the air, we swiftly procured our passes, and that's when the real fun began. The moment we stepped foot inside, we were greeted by the refreshing embrace of a wave pool and an assortment of thrilling water slides that sent our spirits soaring.

One thing I didn't particularly like about the park was that we had to walk from the entrance to our lockers. We had purchased lockers to keep our valuable belongings such as mobile phones, clothes, and other necessities safe. However, since I wanted to capture the beauty around me, I decided to keep my mobile phone with me for some time.

After the short walk, we came across some local swings for children to keep them entertained. This area is usually crowded in the evening when the pools and slides are closed. Families gather here to decide whether they want to grab a bite, have a drink, or simply rest in the small huts available.

Next, we found a prayer area for Muslims to practice their religious values and acts. It was a peaceful place where people could connect with their spirituality and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Moving forward, we reached a fountain and a small garden where we could sit, relax, and soak in the soothing breeze, gentle waves, and the beauty of nature.

Now, let's delve into the heart of this waterpark, the crazy slides. Unfortunately, I couldn't capture many high-quality pictures due to the water splashing and the constant movement. But let me tell you, they were absolutely thrilling!

We spent a few hours in the water, until around 4 or 5 pm when the pools and slides closed.

We were exhausted, feeling as if we might stumble and others would answer us with a splash. So, we decided to head back and stopped at a restaurant on the way to the highway. We sat down, had a meal, and I also tried a cup of tea, as my friend had told me that tea is a specialty here. It's something they can't start or end their day without. I'm more of a coffee person, but I must say, the tea tasted good.
