Never go to Australia without visiting the Kakadu National Park

Australia is a beautiful country with many significant attractions. But you are yet to experience tourism in Australia if you have not visited the Kakadu National Park.

The Park is located in New South Wales, in the Northern area of Australia and it is arguably the country's largest national park. Kakadu Park covers over 20,000 square kilometers, so it is estimated to be as big as the European country, Wales. The park hosts a lot of nature's finest (diverse animals and certain habitats).

When you arrive at Kakadu, you immediately book a ranger to take you because of the wild animals. Remember to climb small hills to view the beautiful water body with water holes and waterways.

You can also go fishing at various spots on the wetlands of Kakaku, and spot some crocodiles. Listen to your ranger talk about rock art and check out various drawings and carvings in the Park.

The Kakadu National Park hosts a few events at certain seasons of the year. If you enjoy exploring other people's culture, you can plan your trip around the Taste of Kakadu which is an annual event where tourists get to experience the bush food culture of the aboriginals. You get to eat an array of organic foods in nature's presence.

If you want to do something for your family members, you can plan your trip around the Mahbilil festival which is a 24-hour celebration of family and Australian traditional culture. You and your family can engage in fun activities like painting, dance, music, and the magpie goose cooking competition.

The fun thing about this festival is that participation is free. Once you get your tickets to the Kakadu National Park, you get free entry to the events.
