Wednesday Walks with the silent Terror of the City
Friends, Happy Wednesday everyone.
Today started with a bit foggy environment, not much sunshine in the morning. However, as the day progresses, the presence of sun increases and the fog conditions decrease. Then the whole day there was a bright atmosphere and clear sky.
But as usual the political environment of our country is getting more and more complicated, today the schedule of elections to the National Assembly is scheduled to be announced due to which the streets are completely empty as the opposition has announced to oppose it. Although the opposition party's blockade of Dhaka is still going on.
Many populated areas of the city were pretty empty today, with most shops starting to close after noon. Because the opposition alliances have created a panic in the public mind by announcing the election schedule. Due to which everyone is spending time in a state of unrest, worrying about the direction the situation will take with the upcoming National Assembly elections.
In fact, the prices of commodities have increased very much, sugar has reached one hundred and fifty rupees per kg which is really high and unimaginable for low income people. However, we hope that the situation will not be too critical and that everything will be normalized through dialogue.
However, I went outside for some time in the afternoon to understand the purpose of the walk and the surroundings. I was really surprised when I got out, because there were not many buses on the road, special forces were patrolling to avoid any untoward situation.
I don't know the name of these yellow flowers, but the environment looked very beautiful from a distance. So, I quickly walked towards it and tried to get some photography. But the mind is quite saddened to see some unexpected garbage. People sit and relax in a beautiful environment and then spoil the environment by littering.
As a citizen, everyone should throw garbage at certain places, because I believe it is our moral responsibility to protect the beauty of the city. However, after walking for quite some time, I quickly started walking towards home after seeing the sun fading. Hope you all had a great Wednesday.
