The roads were busy in the last moments of Ramadan
Friends, Happy Monday everyone.
Today started with a good and cool weather, although there was sun in the sky but still not much warmth in today's environment. Because the temperature of the sun did not feel too high today as there was a nice breeze. However, the Meteorological Department had earlier announced the possibility of rain today.
But sometimes the sky was cloudy but there was not much rainfall but the atmosphere was cool throughout the day. Since 28th of Ramadan is celebrated today, it will be 29th of Ramadan and the holy festival of Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated one day later. Therefore, many people have tried to leave the city and go to their respective villages.
However, every year it happens that there are not enough buses in the city due to increased passenger pressure, resulting in long queues of people on major highways. As I saw today on the main road in our area, there was a lot of people but not enough cars on the road, as the cars were all one way.
That means all the cars are going to the outskirts of the city and all the passengers are trying to go out of the city to celebrate the Eid festival with their families. And because of this, the pressure of passengers has increased in the city and the number of buses has become less than that. Every year this happens before Eid and it also happens after Eid.
After Eid, the pressure of passengers towards the city is high and due to this, long queues of people are formed outside the city. Actually it is not possible to solve this problem with buses, but if a system like metro rail can be done then maybe this problem can be solved quickly. We can hope that the government will think about this matter and take necessary measures to reduce the suffering of the people.
I spent quite a bit of time outside as I do whenever I get the chance, trying to walk the city streets for a while. One thing is very bad today, everyone is busy preparing for the Eid festival, but there is a lot of garbage on the roads and everyone is very careless about cleaning it, it is not desirable for us. I hope the authorities will look into the matter quickly and take necessary measures.
