Oil Lamp

Since I joined the community of Photographers I am trying to combine both my photos but also some writings accompanying them.

This photo today I specially done to post in the Black and White community, because in my opinion it looks better in monochrome.

If you ask me why, for me there are few reasons:

• I love geometric figures and seeing that Oil lamp you can see cubes, cones, oval.
• Also, if you look at the ground and background you noticed that I used wood, for me wooden floor and doors are perfectly match to this form and also it makes an impression of something antique.

Oil Lamp itself is not really old but it was used very frequently and worn off a bit. Of course, we do not use it currently, it is kind of decoration and time to time I love to bring the brass to shine. But usually after few months the shine goes away.
