π¦ββ¬ Swan Family SMAP 235
Hello, everyone! ππ·π¦ββ¬π¦
After a long time, I finally managed to shoot some birds! I've been trying for a while, but I haven't been too successful, so I don't post much in this community. But, now and then, as the Slovenian saying goes, "even a blind hen finds a grain."
Swans, I hope they're big enough birds for #smap 235

The problem I have when shooting birds is that by the time I get ready to take a picture, the bird I'm interested in has already spotted me and, in most cases, flies away.
I don't have a camera with a powerful zoom lens; I use my phone. So I only manage to capture pigeons, chickens, or, like yesterday, swans.
When I looked at the photos, there were about 20 of them, and I found some of them quite watchable.
Yesterday, I took my wife to Koper to run some errands (read: shopping), and while she was in the shops, I wandered around. And I saw swans! A whole family of them.

I took my phone out of my pocket, strolled past them, taking quick, automatic photos from different angles, but they didn't even notice me. They are used to people.
At times, I even thought that the biggest one was posing for me :)
Swans are large water birds with a wingspan of up to two meters. They usually live near freshwater rivers and lakes surrounded by rich vegetation.
I am surprised, because there is only a narrow canal here, about 300 meters long, and further on is the sea.
Maybe they just came to visit, too? The brown chicks can already fly, I think.
That's all for today, I'll be back when I've gathered some birds :)
Thanks a lot for your attention!

Nice photos!
Where I live they actually have a parade for the Swan release!

Looking forward to more of your posts! Cheers!
Wow! This looks great! Swan parade! They really don't care for people too much, Proud Swans :) Thanks for sharing π

They are really territorial!!!
πYes!
Photographing birds is not an easy task. They fly around when we approach them, so it is impossible to do it without a very good camera. Anyway, you have captured the flock of swans very beautifully.
That's right. I was lucky because they were probably resting.
πThey are so cute!
Yes, they are. And they leave me alone. π¦ββ¬ π

Good morning, dear friend @seckorama
How great that you found these beautiful birds, and especially that you were able to photograph them.
What you say is very true; it's impossible to take pictures of birds when you don't have a camera with powerful lenses.
Beautiful shots.
Good evening, my friend @jlufer! I was lucky :)
Thank you for your support!
Nice job, it's always fun to see swans and geese. From a distance of course, they aren't always to friendly up close and personal! lol
Thanks. But I was near. Probably they've been tired of the flight :)
