Shadow Hunting (SMASH) 384 Park

It's been about a month since the last shadow hunting. And now it's time to participate in the SMASH 384 contest!

The Shadow Hunting Contest is one of the oldest contests on Hive Blockchain, having run weekly for more than seven years and consistently rewarding outstanding entries, which demonstrates an excellent level of trust.
Shadows are everywhere, but the best thing is that you can take photos of them when you have other things to do.
So, pay attention to the shadows and notice them in your activities. :)

Here are some recent photos of shadows; I hope you like them.
Most of them are shadows of trees from my walks in the town park on sunny, hot days. Now it has been cloudy for a few days, and it rains occasionally. This is fine for crops in the fields, but not for walks :)

But I'll start with a shadow photo that's kind of like a selfie. Together with my son, we mowed my mother's orchard with lawnmowers.

Later, I went for a walk and started at the house bordering the town park. Here, too, there was freshly mowed grass in front of the house and the shade of two small trees.

I continued along the paved path past the house where the scouts gather. On the wall is a picture of a black grouse (Lyrurus tetrix), which is the symbol and emblem of the scout troop from the town of Ilirska Bistrica. It was drawn by my friend thirty years ago.
And, of course, the shadows of the trees along the path.

The shadow of the tree next to the fountain, in which I have never seen water, seems more like a sculpture to me :)
There is also a portal next to it, although it's not at the entrance to the park but more in the middle.

It's a sunny and very hot afternoon, but when you walk under the trees and in the shade, it's almost like being in a real forest. Refreshing.
I think I'm lucky to have such a park nearby. There are 110 different trees and shrubs planted here. I really should make an effort to photograph all these other trees and present them - one of the most beautiful parks in Slovenia.
The grass is mowed, and I am (literally) walking among the shadows.

I'm on the other side - a house bordering a park and the shade of bushes.

Now there are shadows in the lake in the park, actually on the water lilies that are still blooming. I've already seen turtles this year, but not the snakes that live here. Last year, there were quite a few to be seen, basking in the sun by the water lilies, but not this year.

Now I'm heading towards the part of the park where there are handball, basketball, and bocce courts. There's the shade of a large tree, and on the right side, there used to be an outdoor Olympic swimming pool. I learned to swim here when I was five years old, but now it's gone. Only the meadow remained.
Still, a lot of memories.

And finally, the shadows of the tables nearby. I usually drink coffee here, but today it's closed; it's vacation time after all.
