Bird 🐦⬛ Feeders
Hello everyone! 📷 😎
On the path that I walk on every day, well, almost every day, that leads to the city park, and I've been walking on it for years, I've noticed bird feeders.
In the photo below, this is a paved path next to a dead-end road sign.

A few days ago, I noticed the birdhouses there for the first time.
I never paid attention to them. I was more interested in looking at some birds, mainly pigeons and sparrows, and then I took pictures of them. Especially when the dog Atos rushed towards them, and all the pigeons scattered and flew away :)

Now that I've been paying attention, there's not just one bird feeder; there's more.
For example, this one is mounted on a tree, and unless you look closely, you can't see it.

The next one is about 20 meters ahead, on a wooden stand.

A few steps further, another one. They placed it on an iron drying rack.

The way I see it now, every apartment building has a bird feeder :)

Four apartment blocks, and each one has a bird feeder. It's nice that the residents take such good care of the birds.
This one is at the end, by the car garages.

You can see that they are not new; the ravages of time have already worn them down.
I have lived about 100 meters away for thirty years, but I have never looked at them. Only in the last few years, when I have been using the camera on my phone intensively, have I noticed this. Taking photos really increases our perception and observation of the details of the world around us.
But I will definitely watch in the winter, when and if there is snow, to see if any birds are feeding.
Thank you for your attention!

Awesome shots of all those birdhouses. That last one really needs some TLC as it's being ravaged by the elements. Such a shame to see such a nice creation going unattended for so long. But the builder may not be with us anymore... And great shots of all the other bird houses, they really are great decorations as well as a great spot for birds to nest in.
Those sure are a lot of pigeons, they are everywhere. They really are rats with wings, I remember the most pigeons I have ever seen in one spot was the main square in Venice. Pigeons were everywhere and had invaded the city!
I love those flowers in the first picture, such a pretty red color! Awesome post, you did a great job!

Thanks for the support!
Thanks. It's true, the birdhouses are old. Maybe they should be advertised in local tourist guides, since it's a nice walk to the city park. Perhaps then someone would remember to restore them?
Yes, pigeons are part of urban culture, at least in Europe.

Winter time photos of birds at the feeders would be a great Feathered Friends post!
No matter what kind of winter it is, whether it's snowy or not, birds are hungrier in winter and are probably already used to feeding there.
They need more fuel to keep warm!

That's a nice, small collection of bird feeders that you found in your walk... Now that you spotted these first ones, you have to make a challenge to find at least 10-20 more... Or, maybe to create your bird feeder near your piece of land? Or maybe an owl stands as they can be useful in catching those nasty rodents... 🙂

Thank you for the support. Yes, I found a few new ones, but in the other part of the town. I created my bird feeder when the kids were small. Now is somewhere in the basement, I think, I need to find it :)
It's interesting how we always rediscover something wonderful happening around us.
What a marvel you've shown us! Thank you!
