Buenas Tardes, para mi es un placer iniciar en esta comunidad y presentar lugares mágicos y maravillosos de Venezuela, ya que se cuenta con una diversidad de paisajes, para todos los gustos, como playas paridisíacas, montañas, tepuyes, llanos, cascadas, hasta nieve en la cordillera andina.

Good afternoon, it is my pleasure to join this community and introduce you to the magical and wonderful places of Venezuela, which offers a diversity of landscapes to suit all tastes, such as idyllic beaches, mountains, tepuis, plains, waterfalls, and even snow in the Andes.

En este post, les quiero presentar a cayo sal, ubicado en el Parque Nacional Morrocoy, son más de cinco décadas de historias, y esta ubicado en el estado Falcon al Noroeste de Venezuela, es uno de los estados pesqueros del país, ya que está rodeado por el Mar Caribe y el Golfo de Venezuela.

In this post, I want to introduce you to Cayo Sal, located in Morrocoy National Park. It has more than five decades of history and is located in the state of Falcon in northwestern Venezuela. It is one of the country's fishing states, as it is surrounded by the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Venezuela.

El Parque Nacional Morrocoy, es amplio, cuenta con un número privilegiado de 50 islotes y cayos, siendo dificil para el turista decidir que sitios visitar, porque en un día se puede ir a varios cayos haciendo un Full Day y te hacen el recorrido por tres cayos, o visitar un cayo por día, el recorrido se realiza en lancha o en yate, que salen de dos puntos de embarcaciones, como es del pueblito de Tucacas y de Chichiriviche que es más cerca, dependiendiendo de la distancia de los cayos. Si realizas el recorrido en lancha , para un aproximado de 10 a 12 ocupantes va a tener un costo de 80$ o 100$ , y si decides hacerlo en yate su costo oscila entre los 120 a 180$, esto incluye el viaje de ida y retorno nuevamente a la embarcación.

Morrocoy National Park is vast, with an impressive 50 islets and cays, making it difficult for tourists to decide which sites to visit. In one day, you can go to several cays on a full-day tour that takes you to three cays, or visit one cay per day. The tour is done by boat or yacht, which depart from two points, such as the small town of Tucacas and Chichiriviche, which is closer, depending on the distance of the cays. If you take the tour by boat, for approximately 10 to 12 passengers, it will cost $80 or $100, and if you decide to do it by yacht, the cost ranges from $120 to $180, which includes the round trip back to the boat.

Son varios los cayos que deseo conocer ya que vengo por primera vez, pero mi decisión fue conocer a cayo sal, ya que es muy conocido por su gran arrecife de coral, tambien está cayo muerto, borracho, cayo pelon el cual ha desaparecido totalmente porque lo cubrio el mar, solo se observa una partecita, cayo sombrero es uno de los mas extensos, juanes, playuela, pescadores, en fin son muchisimos, pero estos son los mas visitados por los turistas.

There are several keys that I want to visit since this is my first time here, but I decided to visit Cayo Sal, as it is well known for its large coral reef. There is also Cayo Muerto, Cayo Borracho, and Cayo Pelon, which has completely disappeared because it was covered by the sea; only a small part can be seen. Cayo Sombrero is one of the largest, along with Juanes, Playuela, Pescadores, there are many, but these are the most visited by tourists.

Para llegar a Cayo Sal, realize mi embarcación desde el pueblito de Chichiriviche, fue un recorrido con un trayecto corto, por un momento pense que iba a ser muy largo, de verdad que siempre le he tenido respeto al Mar,porque no se nadar, pero fue un tiempo de 15 minutos, incluso desde cayo sal se visualiza Chichiriviche, al llegar me quede sorprendido con su belleza.

To get to Cayo Sal, I took my boat from the town of Chichiriviche. It was a fairly short journey. For a moment, I thought it was going to be very long. I have always had respect for the sea because I don't know how to swim, but it only took 15 minutes. Even from Cayo Sal, you can see Chichiriviche. When I arrived, I was amazed by its beauty.

Cayo Sal, es el segundo cayo mas grande del Parque Nacional Morrocoy, y su nombre surge porque sus aguas son bastante saladas y hasta se pueden observar las montañitas de sal, en el agua muy cerca de la orilla, hacia ese lado los visiantes estan limitados para transitar,a manera de protección de las salinas. Se puede describir como una isla, con un entorno natural bellisimo en todos los contextos, me quedaria corto en explicar cada una de las cosas que se observa, tiene una arena blanquisima, y mucha vegetación, cualquier arbol puede acobijarte con su sombra, así que no necesitarias de alquilar toldo para resguardarse de los rayos del sol.

Cayo Sal is the second largest cay in Morrocoy National Park, and its name comes from the fact that its waters are quite salty and you can even see small mountains of salt in the water very close to the shore. Visitors are restricted from walking in that area in order to protect the salt flats. It can be described as an island with a beautiful natural environment in every way. It would be difficult to explain everything that can be seen there. It has very white sand and lots of vegetation, and any tree can provide shade, so there is no need to rent an awning to protect yourself from the sun's rays.

Este cayo, cuenta con agua tan cálida, que cuando entras al agua no te provoca salir, muy caracteristico de las playas venezolanas, con un color azul como llegando a turquesa. Otro cosa, que descubri en su recorrido buscando un arbol para la sombra, es una iguana enorme, al igual hay muchas aves, pero fueron dificil de capturar con mi celular.

This cay has such warm water that once you get in, you don't want to get out. It's very characteristic of Venezuelan beaches, with a blue color that verges on turquoise. Another thing I discovered while walking around looking for a tree for shade was a huge iguana. There are also many birds, but they were difficult to capture with my cell phone.

En cayo sal, hay diversos atractivos a la hora de recrearte, puedes practicar el voleibol de playas en sus cristalina arenas, ya que hay diversos sitios donde tienen expuestas las mayas de voleibol, asi mismo, se encuentran grupos de tambor, Venezuela es muy conocido en el centro y oriente del país por el baile al son de los tambores, es una musica divertida, tambien estan las practicas de Snorkel para aquellos que estan dispuestos a sumergirse en la profundidad del mar y conocer los arrecifes del coral, y toda esa diversidad marina. Asi mismo está el recorrido en la banana, te hacen el recorrdido en la banana en un buen tiempo hasta que el que maneja la Lancha decide tumbarte al agua, dando unos giros bruscos para que salgas volando, es un atractivo bastante divertido.

Cayo Sal offers a variety of recreational activities. You can play beach volleyball on its crystal-clear sands, as there are several places where volleyball nets are set up. There are also drum groups. Venezuela is well known in the center and east of the country for dancing to the beat of the drums. It is fun music. There is also snorkeling for those who are willing to dive into the depths of the sea and explore the coral reefs and all the marine diversity. There is also the banana boat ride. They take you on the banana boat ride for a good while until the person driving the boat decides to knock you into the water, making some sharp turns so that you fly out. It is quite a fun attraction.

Es un sitio de total relajación, que te permite desconectarte del mundo exterior, y más si lo haces acompañado de tu familia, alli te olvidas de la actual situación que atraviesa nuestro país y de los problemas. Se respira una aire puro, el sonido del mar, y el sol que te relaja muchisimo tanto asi que facilmente te puedes dormir, sin importar la cantidad de personas que se encuentran a tu alrededor y si quieres enterrarte en la playa tambien resulta placentero sentir la frescura de la arena en tu cuerpo, aquí estoy enterrando a mi prima, que queria parecer una sirena.

It is a place of total relaxation, allowing you to disconnect from the outside world, especially if you are accompanied by your family. There, you can forget about the current situation our country is going through and all its problems. You breathe in the fresh air, listen to the sound of the sea, and the sun relaxes you so much that you can easily fall asleep, regardless of how many people are around you. If you want to bury yourself in the sand, it is also pleasant to feel the coolness of the sand on your body. Here I am burying my cousin, who wanted to look like a mermaid.
