Hail to the Hive!

Ooooh am I happy to be in India. I honestly didn’t know where to begin snapping shots today but liked the look of these beached wooden fishing vessels so much I thought they were a perfect place to start.

I am currently in India visiting dive shops and having conversations with them and looking for centres and instructors to crossover to our diving agency and also taking time to take in the sights, eat food and have a cheeky beer or two.

So my friends at Chakra divers took me today to see where they do their boat launches from and over to one side I spotted these large wooden fishing boats, beached and bleaching in the hot Indian sunshine.

As usual when start taking photos of dilapidated stuff I got some odd looks but I explained to m friend ‘Pushpak’ that I an see black and white photo opportunities everywhere here.

India so far has been excellent. Friendly, great food, alot to take in with so much going on but as bustling as it is, its fun.

I already realise that the two weeks I have here won’t be nearly enough but I remind myself that I will be back soon as it’s pa of my job role o be out here in these interesting places to meet people and visit the scuba centres. Hmmmm think I’m going to enjoy this

And it’s only day one ☝️. So much to see and do and explore, photograph, eat and drink.
