Such beautiful photos! Fall is my favorite season. I've heard the Maple Leaf Rag played on the piano, and even attempted to play it myself, but never had I heard it played on a guitar. I like it!

Wherever war is happening, I remind myself it's basically a war between the leaders. None of the ordinary people really want it to happen. None of them wanted to start it. I think the war-hungry leaders ought to just have a duel and leave everybody else out of it.

I agree with the humanistic core of your statement: ordinary people should not suffer or die because of the ambitions of politicians. This desire for peace is universal.

However, I must disagree with the comment's oversimplification when applied to the Russian-Ukrainian war for three critical reasons:

Aggressor vs. Victim. This is an unprovoked war of aggression (Russia) against a nation fighting for survival (Ukraine). It is not a conflict "between the leaders" on both sides.

War Crimes and Initiative. Russian soldiers are not just following orders. There is extensive evidence that they are voluntarily committing atrocities, including torturing, raping, and murdering civilians, as well as widespread looting.

Societal Support. These actions are often supported or condoned by a significant part of the Russian civilian population.
