I had no idea the San Francisco climate was like that! Thanks for the lovely pictures.

The city is divided by many hills, so the climate really depends on where you are relative to the shelter a hill provides (or not), and also that the city is surrounded on three sides by water -- always humidity. But for the fog, San Francisco would average 90 degrees and humid in the summer, but the sea fog cools that down to an average of 55-65 until September (and THEN, the sea breeze finally calming down, it will hit 90 and above). The upper end of that, though, given a sheltered position, can support all kinds of subtropical life...
