Thank you for sharing. Venezuelan Christmas food is characterized by being a time of togetherness between family or friends—"almost family"—and when preparing it, the background music of Christmas Carols and/or gaitas is essential.

Ahora... Por la ausencia de tantos amigos y familiares "probando suerte" en el exterior, la historia es otra... Las historias son otras. Por eso me alegro cuando me entero que en el presente se dió un episodio "como los de antes". Que la alegría y los reencuentros marquen con una impronta positiva el tiempo que queda para finalizar el año y - a lo Charles Dickens - "que Dios nos bendiga a todos"

Now... Because so many friends and family members are "trying their luck" abroad, the story is different... The stories are different. That's why I'm happy when I hear that something like the old days has happened. May joy and reunions leave a positive mark on the time that remains until the end of the year, and—to paraphrase Charles Dickens—"may God bless us all."
