My evening stroll..

Good day ladies and gentlemen on this platform, I trust we are all having a good day? I was taking an evening stroll around my hostel yesterday and a very beautiful flower caught my attention. I wanted to just pass by and continue enjoying the clean evening breeze from a village-like students residential area where I live in school but the beauty of the flower won't let me. I also know that sunflower blossom during the summer season. I was surprised to see them during this period so I decided to take a few pictures and share them with you all.

I'd love to share with us my little knowledge about this beauty that's named "SUNFLOWER". The common sunflower (Helianthus annuus) is a substantial annual forb belonging to the genus Helianthus. For its tasty, fatty seeds, it is frequently planted as a crop. In addition to being used to make cooking oil, it is also utilized as a home garden decorative, it is also used as a cattle feed (as a meal or a silage plant), as bird food, and in some industrial purposes.

Sunflower symbolises loyalty and adoration according to the myth of clytie and Apollo. It is well known for being a happy flower and a perfect bloom for a summer flower delivery to brighten someone's mood 🌞. It wasn't delivered to me though 😁, but I can assure you it brightened my mood from 0 to 100. From the excitement I experienced when I saw it, to the fun I had trying to take beautiful pictures of it and going to learn more about it. I was happy I took the evening stroll after all, and I think I will add evening strolls to my routines too.
