I have read somewhere here on Hive people who think that a possible reason why a Hive frontend may be replacing all links into its own to help with SEO or something. 🀯 Anyway, if you want to prevent the #Ecency frontend from replacing a link, just enclose it with backticks like this, but the link will not be clickable and will require the user to copy-paste the link on a web browser to open it. πŸ€“

I know that you would say that you want users have the option to either allow the frontend to replace the links or leave the links as is, because some Ecency users still prefer to have all links to posts, comments, communities, and accounts (among others) on Hive to get redirected within the Ecency platform. 😏 However, there are links which should be reserved (not replaced) no matter the user preference in having links to Hive-based content replaced. πŸ€―πŸ˜…

I can see the reasoning in that, but I still despise when links that I share are changed. That's great and all, but I'd really rather not have to finagle a way to make it work the way that I want, or to require more steps for the people with whom links are shared. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™
