RE: Did you experience Stormy Weather at the Beach?

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I presume that your local jungle community has a large covered "town hall" area for community meetings. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ

I already have a lot to do just during my commenting sessions, which includes looking at my available token tips for the particular Hive author, and ensuring that the original post author likes or at least doesn't mind lots of comments and/or token tipping commands. 🀯 Perhaps you are referring specifically to my #SavvyCorrect to have "something to do". 😏

The author of the original post doesn't use token tipping commands, but I assume that for as long as the token tips don't make the bots leave a bot comment on the comments section where they were called and we don't talk too often in general on the comments section, then we likely are good here. πŸ€―πŸ€“

There's nothing so elaborate here, only a few larger structures for such purposes.

Indeed, that's to what I was referring.

Yep, that's likely a correct assessment I'd say. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

It looks like you mean that your local jungle community has only simple structures !INDEED. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ

I even have a large spreadsheet containing all my available Hive tipping tokens for most Hive authors I talk with every day, though I need to transfer it to another device every time I start my commenting session on Hive on that device. 🀯

I think that even if I encounter some people who don't like tipping tokens at all, it would still be fine for as long as the original author doesn't mind it and I don't reply directly to those people who don't like tipping tokens. πŸ€“

Correct, though it varies a little bit between structures.

I had a feeling that you used something like that to keep track of your tips. I've never tried something so involved. I mostly try to just remember, but I go over all the time. Why not just use an auto-syncing spreadsheet app or website?

At this point, I default to not tipping, then if I see that it's acceptable, I will. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I know about the option of using either a web-based spreadsheet or a local spreadsheet with sync enabled, though I use some features which are available in neither though. πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ If I find it inconvenient to transfer the spreadsheet to another device on a given day, then it very often is the case that I can't publish enough comments for the day either. πŸ€―πŸ˜…

Ah, OK, I understand. I've only considered doing that, though I've never actually done it that way. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Besides that, using a spreadsheet on mobile devices (especially smartphones with small screens) is (very) inconvenient !INDEED. πŸ€―πŸ˜…

I still wish that there were an app or service that kept track of available tip calls. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

That's something that Hive devs can do (only if they both like Hive tipping tokens and have time to develop such app)! πŸ˜ŽπŸ€―πŸ˜…

Indeed, and @borniet would be the perfect fit, but time is not something of which he has a lot! πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

While Bjorn loves tipping tokens (on Hive), he doesn't have enough time for it, so I don't think he's the perfect fit for the job (until he gets available time for Hive) !INDEED. πŸ€―πŸ˜…

Yep, it's quite a conundrum indeed, and he just got word that he's going to be a lot busier soon. I'm wondering for how long he will be able to keep that up before it just becomes too much to handle. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I don't want to think about what could happen when Bjorn (or anyone we know in general) already has "too much to handle" !INDEED. 🀯
