La vieja triada técnica

Hace rato venía pensando en la vieja relación entre velocidad de obturación, apertura del lente y sensibilidad de la película, ya saben, variables de la fotografía, en su aspecto técnico me refiero. Los consejos de los viejos maestros vinieran a mi mente.

"Dependiendo del efecto que quieras dar puedes aumentar o reducir el asa, al subirla aumentas el grano, al bajarla lo reduces"

"Si lo que quieres es lograr un mayor enfoque, prueba cerrando más el ente"

"Si lo que tienes es un día soleado si quieres mejorar la escena, aumenta la velocidad lo más que puedas"

"Experimenta a varias velocidades, sensibilidades de ASA y aperturas de lente y encontrarás que reflejan diferentes sensaciones"

Todos estos consejos en algún momento fueron valiosos hasta que el uso desmesurado de la tecnología, llevó el control a los celulares y cámaras digitales, pasé a ser alguien más aburrido, al menos eso creo. Dejé de preocuparme, permití que el celular pensara por mí y me sentí primero cómodo, Pues un poco deprimido. No me había dado cuenta que el celular tiene opciones profesionales. Qué tan buenas fotografías se podrían tomar con un celular de baja gama. Decidí probar y este fue el resultado, apenas si noto un poco de mejoría. Tal vez me animé algún día a comprarme una cámara profesional, quién sabe, la verdad es que ya no tengo mucho tiempo libre. De cualquier manera creo que las humildes prestaciones que da este celular me han levantado un poco el ánimo. De los aspectos del encuadre y el diseño, despues aprendo. Pasen todos un excelente día.

For a while now, I've been thinking about the old relationship between shutter speed, lens aperture, and film sensitivity—you know, variables of photography, in the technical sense, I mean. The advice of the old masters came to mind.

"Depending on the effect you want to achieve, you can increase or decrease the shutter speed. Raising it increases the grain, lowering it reduces it."

"If you want to achieve greater focus, try narrowing the lens down further."

"If you have a sunny day, if you want to enhance the scene, increase the shutter speed as much as possible."

"Experiment with various shutter speeds, ASA sensitivities, and lens apertures, and you'll find they reflect different sensations."

All of this advice was valuable at one point, until the excessive use of technology took control over cell phones and digital cameras. I became more boring, or so I think. I stopped worrying, let the phone do the thinking for me, and felt comfortable at first. Well, a little depressed. I hadn't realized the phone had professional features. What good photos could be taken with a low-end phone? I decided to try it, and this was the result. I barely notice a slight improvement. Maybe one day I'll get the courage to buy a professional camera—who knows, the truth is, I don't have much free time anymore. Either way, I think the modest features this phone offers have lifted my spirits a bit. Have a great day, everyone.
