454th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Cebu

Last Sunday, we celebrated the 454th Founding Anniversary of the Province of Cebu. Working in Cebu Provincial Government for 12 years now and being able to celebrate it for 12 years too made me realized that I have aged in this establishment too.

I've met different people and witnessed colleagues who come and go. Some went to abroad for greener pasture and some have died already. Although, I've only witnessed two governors exchanging terms but nonetheless, I felt I've grown matured all over the years. Watching my colleagues getting married too and having babies. This celebration made me realized that people really come and go. And you can be forgotten if you won't even be worth to remember. That's why, on that note, I wanted to be remembered possitively. Where I can bring smile to other people's lives realising that I have left a footprints on their heart. Working diligently and being a good public servant is always my motto.

Anyways, with that being said, I suggested to put on some decorations in our office during this celebration. I suggested to have a sweet corner for children since we can bring our family with us to celebrate that day. It gives me joy seeing a lot of children enjoying that day, including my daughter. Even the kids at heart were happy with the set up we prepare for them. Of course, I wouldn't have done it without a help from my fellow colleagues too.

It ended a happy celebration indeed. Now we can't wait for our Christmas Party already. :)
