Kapadokya - a place from fairy tale
A friend of mine visited a wonderful place that looks like a fairy tale. She called me when she arrived there because she knows about my passion for exploring and visiting new beaautiful places so she was really astonished by the place and she shared some incredible photos with me from the beautiful place called Kapadokya in Turkey.
Here are some facts taken from wikipedia>
is a historical region in Central Anatolia, Turkey. It largely is in the provinces Nevşehir, Kayseri, Aksaray, Kırşehir, Sivas and Niğde.According to Herodotus,[1] in the time of the Ionian Revolt (499 BC), the Cappadocians were reported as occupying a region from Mount Taurus to the vicinity of the Euxine (Black Sea). Cappadocia, in this sense, was bounded in the south by the chain of the Taurus Mountains that separate it from Cilicia, to the east by the upper Euphrates, to the north by Pontus, and to the west by Lycaonia and eastern Galatia.[2]
As I found out from many resources ,the name, traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history, continues in use as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage >
My friend stayed for three days there and has told me that it is a place worth visiting because has something mystical. You can find dreamy landscapes, fairy chimneys, caves, hotels, all kinds of rocks, and balloon flights in the heart of Anatolia. From Türkiye hot air balloons to its gorgeous natural formationsthere are plenty of splendid reasons to visit the fairy tale city of Kapadokya. People have made caves into matchless homes throughout the centuries, and now Kapadokya offers a wide range of coolest accommodations for visitors.
In Kapadokya there are many options, from luxury cave hotels with jacuzzis to rooftop terraces, to hotels where you can have a sense of the history.
I will visit this amazing place surely in the future, already is on the list.
Photos were taken by friend of mine and belong to her, as well to me because she has gave me permission to share them with this splendid community.
Here is update with new photos Aneta shared with me and you can enjoy in the same way I did. It is really a stunning place.
Greetings

Your friend is so lucky cause she has to enjoy the phenomenon. When I visited Kapadokya, there were no air balloons due to the bad weather. I wish someday you would have your experience there. Kapadokya has a beautiful view with balloons.
This is me and my friends in the Kapadokya. It has to be air balloons but nothing one
Oh yes, the air ballooons make the place magical.I hope you will have more luck next time, to see the air balloons. Thanks for the comment.
