Último día de vacaciones en playa cara care 🌊 [ESP/ENG]

Hoy fue un día increíble, de esos que uno dice “qué manera tan buena de cerrar las vacaciones” Mañana ya toca volver a clases, se acabó el descanso y empieza un nuevo año escolar. Pero antes de eso, el club de atletismo al que pertenezco organizó un paseo a Playa Caracare para recoger fondos para nuestros próximos viajes. Mañana mismo viajan unos compañeros a Caracas a representarnos y el profe con lo que se recolecta va ayudando a los que van saliendo. En octubre nos toca a nosotros, así que hay que seguir recogiendo fondos 💪🏽.

Today was an incredible day, one of those days when you say, "What a great way to end the holidays." Tomorrow it's back to school, the break is over, and a new school year begins. But before that, the athletics club I belong to organized a trip to Caracare Beach to raise funds for our upcoming trips. Tomorrow, some of my teammates are traveling to Caracas to represent us, and the teacher is using the money raised to help those who are going. In October, it will be our turn, so we have to keep raising funds 💪🏽.

Y aquí quiero hacer una pausa para agradecer a nuestra amiga @sugarelys, quien se enteró del paseo gracias a un flyer que mi mamá publicó en su estado de WhatsApp. Se animó junto a un grupo de amigos y nos acompañó en esta experiencia. Gracias por tu apoyo y buena vibra.

La salida fue desde dos puntos y como yo vivo cerca, mi mamá me llevó directo. Lo bueno del paseo fue que llegamos caminando por la montaña en el fondo eso nos sirvió como deporte y regresamos en bote, porque el sol está que quema y había gente mayor, así que el profe pensó en todo. Después de la caminata, nos dejaron varias horas en la playa y luego el bote nos buscó para regresar.

The trip started from two different locations, and since I live nearby, my mom drove me there directly. The best part of the trip was that we walked up the mountain, which was good exercise, and then we returned by boat because the sun was scorching and there were older people with us, so the teacher thought of everything. After the hike, they left us on the beach for several hours, and then the boat picked us up to return.

Aunque tuvimos un pequeño retraso ya que la salida era a las 8:30 y salimos como a las 9:30, todo estuvo súper divertido. Me reí muchísimo con mis compañeros del club, aunque no fuimos todos, igual la pasamos bien. Además, fue bastante gente, lo que significa que sí se puede reunir buenos fondos para los viajes que vienen.

Although we had a slight delay because we were supposed to leave at 8:30 and ended up leaving at around 9:30, everything was super fun. I laughed a lot with my club mates, and even though not everyone came, we still had a good time. Plus, there were quite a few people, which means we can raise good funds for upcoming trips.

El sol estaba fuerte, como era de esperarse, pero la playa estaba una bellaza total, agua cristalina, colores turquesa, valió la pena todo. Les dejo una fotico para que se imaginen lo espectacular que estaba. Si están por la isla y tienen chance, les recomiendo este paseo con los ojos cerrados. Mi mamá @floreudys79 va a seguir poniendo flyers por si alguien más se quiere sumar a las próximas excursiones. Y bueno amigos esto es todo por hoy, saludos.

The sun was strong, as expected, but the beach was absolutely beautiful, with crystal clear turquoise waters. It was totally worth it. Here's a photo so you can imagine how spectacular it was. If you're on the island and have the chance, I highly recommend this trip. My mom @floreudys79 will continue to put up flyers in case anyone else wants to join the next excursions.
