Hi, friends at Hive Margarita! Today I want to share with you a walk I took earlier this week. I was supposed to have a workout that day, but the instructor got sick and canceled the session. So, since a friend is visiting, we decided to go for a walk along the coast of Playa Manzanillo and Playa Guayacán, and that route took us straight to FortĂn de La Galera, here in Juangriego. When I don’t have practice, I usually prefer to stay on the computer or on my phone, but I really enjoyed the walk and watching that sunset. It had been a while since I’d been up there, and it’s always nice to go back. The atmosphere was great, and there was a nice breeze—which is a relief since it’s so hot on the island right now. When we arrived, there were only a few people there, but as the minutes passed, the place filled up with people waiting for that special moment of the day.
We walked around the fort, joked around, and showed our friend the view of the bay. As the sun began to set, the whole sky turned incredible shades of orange. I highly recommend it, friends—it’s something we have right here in Margarita, and it’s definitely worth seeing.
