Hola a todos @hivemargarita, hoy es la primera vez que escribo en esta comunidad y qué chévere poder compartirles algo de nuestra Isla de Margarita. He leido sus posts y hoy me animé a hacerle uno para ustedes, pero sin más que decir aquí les dejo con mi post.

Resulta que el sábado pasado fui a entrenar a Bahía Dorada, queda en el Municipio Maneiro, esa playa chiquita que no todos conocen, pero ahí es donde yo he visto que la mayoría de los deportistas entrenan. El sol pegaba fuerte y la arena quemaba los pies. Cuando terminé sudando pero relajado, miré hacia un lado y vi una playa grande que creo que se llama Playa El Ángel, donde está el club Dowtoun del hotel Tibisay, es muy famoso. Lo genial es que ese día la playa estaba vacía como esperándome solo a mí jajajajajajajaja.

It turns out that last Saturday I went to train at Bahía Dorada, located in the municipality of Maneiro, that little beach that not everyone knows about, but that's where I've seen most athletes train. The sun was beating down hard and the sand was burning my feet. When I finished, sweaty but relaxed, I looked to one side and saw a large beach that I think is called Playa El Ángel, where the Dowtoun club of the Tibisay hotel is located, which is very famous. The great thing is that that day the beach was empty, as if waiting just for me,

Me dio curiosidad y me fui caminando por la orilla con los pies en el agua, para no quemarme tanto. El mar estaba tan transparente que veía hasta las piedritas del fondo. Lo mejor eran unas piedras cerca de la orilla no muy grandes, pero con formas interesantes y lisas supongo de tanto que el agua las moja todos los días. Como seguía con mucho calor, dejé mi bolso ahí tirado en la arena y fui al agua. Esa agua fresquita me cayó perfecta después del entrenamiento tan matador que había tenido, de verdad que entrenar en la playa es lo peor del mundo, pero ya mi cuerpo está acostumbrado.

I was curious, so I walked along the shore with my feet in the water to avoid getting burned. The sea was so clear that I could see the pebbles on the bottom. The best part was some rocks near the shore that weren't very big, but had interesting shapes and were smooth, I guess from being wet by the water every day. Since it was still very hot, I left my bag lying there on the sand and went into the water. That cool water felt perfect after the killer workout I'd had. Honestly, training on the beach is the worst thing in the world, but my body is used to it now.

Me quedé un rato en el agua, echándome chapuzones y nadando, solo se escuchaba el ruido del mar. Después salí y caminé descalzo hasta las piedras, ya que no me lastimaban porque no estaban tan filosas. Me subí a unas que tenían buena vista y me tome varias fotos con mi teléfono, me gustó la idea ya que con ese sol todo se veía brillante.

I stayed in the water for a while, splashing around and swimming, listening to the sound of the sea. Then I got out and walked barefoot to the rocks, which didn't hurt my feet because they weren't very sharp. I climbed up on some that had a good view and took several photos with my phone. I liked the idea because everything looked so bright in the sunshine.

Lo chévere es que aunque el Dowtoun es puro movimiento, ese día no había nadie, me imagino que es que estaba muy temprano y a esa hora la gente todavía no va a la playa. Fue demasiado fino tener esa playa gigante como mi lugar tranquilo para relajarme. Ni un alma cerca, solo unos pájaros volando lejos y los pecesitos que andaban por ahí.

The cool thing is that even though Dowtown is always bustling, there was no one there that day. I guess it was because it was very early and people don't go to the beach at that time of day. It was so nice to have that giant beach as my own quiet place to relax. Not a soul in sight, just a few birds flying in the distance and some little fish swimming around.

En fin. Fue un descanso merecido después de tanto esfuerzo. Tener esa playa enorme solo para mí fue una bendición. El agua fresca, el silencio y ese momento de paz.

Anyway, it was a well-deserved break after so much effort. Having that huge beach all to myself was a blessing. The cool water, the silence, and that moment of peace.
